Ram Vilas Paswan congratulates the Prime Minister for New Crop Insurance Scheme

The Union Food Minister, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan has congratulated the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Singh Modi for taking up historical initiative in the form of New Crop Insurance Scheme for the welfare of farmers. He has said reduced premium i.e 1.5% and 2% and inclusion of localised calamities and post harvest losses also for the insurance will certainly help farmers to overcome their distress.

Shri Ram Vilas Paswan has said that lunching of the scheme with so many unique features shows that Government is committed to the welfare of common man especially of farmers.
