Allsec bags HR leadership award

Allsec Technologies Ltd, a call centre support services provider, was presented the Emerging HR Leadership Award, at the Asia Pacific BPO HR Summit, organised by National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Mumbai Chapter and Mindspace Human Capital Services.

A company statement said that the award was presented in recognition of its commitment to people and processes.

"We have always targeted a utilisation level of 1.8 agents to a seat and we hope to reach that level by the end of this fiscal. We will recruit an additional 1000 people before March 2006" says Jagadish Ramamoorthi, chief executive, Allsec.

Chennai-based Allsec currently employs over 2000 people and is planning to increase the workforce to 3000 in the next 6 months.
