Almond rises in thin trade

In thin trading, almond prices rose by up to Rs 50 per kg in the local dry-fruits market today on scattered demand from retailers.
Market analysts said scattered demand from retailers helped almond prices to trade marginally higher.
In the national capital, almond (California) gained Rs 50 to Rs 10,950 per 40 kg, while almond kernel (California) traded higher by Rs 2 to Rs 382-392 per kg.
