Asian markets up; Nikkei up 69pts

Asian markets are up this have opened on a positive note this week.

The Hang Seng has rallied 301 points to 23,570. The Nikkei has gained 69 points at 13,984.

The Taiwan Weighted index has moved up 28 points to 8,314. The Straits Times index has advanced 16 points to 3,081, and the Seoul Composite index is up a point at 1,710.

The Shanghai Composite index, however, has slipped 10 points to 4,183.
