Cardamom maintain an upward march on spot demand

Cardamom maintained an upward march for the fourth straight session today rose by Rs 17.10 to Rs 944.60 per kg in futures trading on increased demand in the spot market against less arrivals from producing regions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the April contract for cardamom rose by Rs 17.10, or 1.84%, to Rs 944.60 per kg in business turnover of 652 lots.
The March contract moved up by Rs 10.30, or 1.19%, to Rs 878.10 per kg in 1,451 lots.
Traders said increased demand in the spot market against lower arrivals from producing region mainly pushed up cardamom prices at futures trade.
