Cardamom up 0.37% on local demand

Restricted arrivals from producing regions triggered the uptrend

Cardamom futures for February rose by Rs 3.90, or 0.37%, to Rs 1,040.70 per kg in 329 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the March contract quoted up Rs 2.10, or 0.19%, to Rs 1,078.40 per kg in 24 lots.

Fresh positions by speculators, pick-up in spot market demand supported the trade.
