Castorseed futures slip in sluggish trade

Castorseed futures prices moved down further in an otherwise lacklustre oils and oilseeds market here today on sustained selling from stockists amid weak export demand. 

Meanwhile, edible and non-edible segment witnessed a steady trend due to thin demand amidst restricted arrivals.

Castorseed March delivery resumed lower at Rs 3,440 and traded in a range of Rs 3,460 and Rs 3,430 before settling at Rs 3,449 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 3,452, showing a marginal loss of Rs 3 per tonne.

However, groundnut oil, refined palmolein, castor seeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed, all were unaltered at Rs 765, Rs 555, Rs 4,300, Rs 890 and Rs 630, respectively.
