Chana futures dip 1.72% on subdued demand

In restricted trade, chana futures prices fell by Rs 42 to Rs 2,405 per quintal in today, as speculators reduced their positions, driven by a weak trend at spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, chana for delivery in December fell by Rs 42, or 1.72 per cent to Rs 2,405 per quintal, with a trade volume of just one lot.
Marketmen said adequate stocks against subdued demand in the spot market led to the fall in chana futures prices.
