Chidambaram said customs duty has been reduced on sunflower oil by 15 percentage points. As a result, customs duty on crude sunflower oil will be slashed from 65 per cent to 50 per cent, while the duty on refined sunflower oil will go down from 75 per cent to 60 per cent.
