DCM jumps as it gets back into the black

DCM spurted by 2.74 per cent to close the day at Rs 20.60 after the company reported a profit of Rs 2.82 crore in the second quarter of FY09 compared with a loss of Rs 97 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company’s total income surged by 37.3 per cent y-o-y to reach Rs 55.68 crore during the quarter. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 21.70 and a low of Rs 20. Total volumes traded on the counter were 15,727 shares (close to 2.5 times its two-week average) with delivery volumes of 60.71 per cent.
