Domestic crude oil basket falls to $57.79

| India's crude oil import basket fell further to $57.79 (Rs 2,555) per barrel on Friday, down 33 cents from Thursday, the petroleum and natural gas ministry said today. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Prices for Monday were unavailable due to public holiday for Id. The Indian crude basket comprises Oman-Dubai sour grade crude and Brent dated sweet crude in 58:42 ratio. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Friday, Brent crude closed at $58.93 per barrel, down 66 cents from Thursday. The Dubai benchmark was down 13 cents to $56.63 per barrel and Oman was down by 10 cents at $57.42.
