Essar Oil jumped 5.61 per cent to Rs 236.20 on reports that the company would be raising $5 billion in fresh debt to fund its $6 billion refinery capacity expansion programme at Vadinar, Gujarat, and for acquisition of oil and gas blocks in Iraq, Egypt and Australia.
