Gayatri Projects spurts on tie-up with DLF

Gayatri Projects jumped 6 per cent to Rs 677.25 on BSE after the company said it has signed a MOU with DLF to form a JV for constructing road projects on build-operate-transfer basis. Gayatri Projects will hold 50 per cent stake and DLF will hold the remaining 50 per cent in the JV.

The company's net profit rose 42.6 per cent to Rs 6.80 crore on 76.9 per cent growth in net sales to Rs 144.07 crore in Q3 September 2007 over Q3 September 2006.
