Geojit BNP slips over 10% from high despite good Q1 nos

The stock slipped into the negative terrain to touch a low of Rs 36.75, down over 10% from the day's high.

The stock finally ended at Rs 37.35, down 3% . Around 377,353 shares were traded on the BSE as against the two-week daily average traded volumes of 72,137 shares.

Geojit BNP Paribus is up 4% after the company posted a 87% increase in net profit in the first quarter.

The stock today opened at Rs 39, slipped to a low of Rs 38.95 and touched a high of Rs 40.95.

The scrip is now trading at Rs 40 and the counter has witnessed trades of 185,570 shares as against the two-week daily average traded volumes of 72,137 shares on the BSE so far.

 

The company's net profit for the Q1 rose by 87%  to Rs 13.25 crore over the same quarter’s last year.
