Havells India, Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra), Petronet LNG, Jet Airways, Reliance Communications (RCom) and Dalmia Bharat are among 18 stocks from the BSE500 index touched their respective 52-week highs on the BSE.
Shares of Havells India have surged 5% to Rs 320, also its 52-week high on the BSE on the back of nearly two-fold jump in trading volumes. A combined 1.5 million shares changed hands on the counter till 10:41 a.m. on the BSE and NSE.
Last month, Havells India, electrical goods makers, announced that it will start manufacturing small domestic appliances from January 2016. The company will make appliances like mixer grinder, juicer mixer grinder, electric iron and induction cook top.

Shares of RInfra hit high of Rs 563 in intra-day trade and rallied 33% since December 15 after the company announced the closing of the open offer period for the acquisition of Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Co. (PDOC)
Upon completion of applicable formalities, RInfra will acquire sole management control of PDOC, and the company being renamed Reliance Defence and Engineering Ltd. The payment for validly tendered shares, subject to scrutiny and processing, will be completed by December 31, 2015, it added.
Petronet LNG too hit a 52-week high of Rs 262, gained 6% in past two trading sessions after India's largest natural gas importer, its LNG supplier RasGas of Qatar on Thursday signed a modified long-term agreement helping the company avoid a Rs 12,000 crore penalty for the shortfall in gas offtake.
Shares of aviation companies such as Jet Airways (India) and SpiceJet are trading at fresh 52-week highs, while InterGlobe Aviation-operating the 'IndiGo' brand is currently trading at its highest level since listing in November last year on back of heavy volumes on reports that cut in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices.

GM Breweries has zoomed 17% to Rs 925 on the BSE on back of an over 10-fold jump in trading volumes. The exchange has revised circuit filter of the stock from 5% to 20% with effective from today, i.e. January 01, 2016.
