IT bellwether Infosys reported third quarter numbers which were in line with the market's expectations. The December quarter is generally considered a weak quarter due to holidays and furloughs. Due to this, the revenue growth has come in below 2% compared to the previous quarter. But the icing on cake, was that the bottom line soared by 21% sequentially to $463 million, on better control on operating costs.
Helping us decode the Infosys numbers is Ankita Somani, Research Analyst (IT and Telecom) at Angel Broking. She shares her views on what the number means, the road ahead for the stock and will the company be able to keep up the performance in the next quarter too.
We start by asking what her initial reaction on the Infosys Q3 numbers is.
