The stocks of companies engaged in the pesticide business had a mixed run between December 2004 and today on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Dhanuka Pesticides rose from Rs 60.35 to Rs 81, up by 34.21 per cent, and Excel Ind from Rs 63.35 to Rs 67.05.

Uniphos Enterprises rose from Rs 22.70 to Rs 26.05 and Indokem from Rs 7.98 to Rs 6.50.

Aimco Pesticides gained from Rs 12.55 to Rs 15.60 and Kedia Chemicals Industries from Rs 2 to Rs 3.

Sabero Organics climbed from Rs 19.39 to Rs 27.65 and Super Crop Safe from Rs 3 to Rs 3.45.

Excel Crop Care fell from Rs 187.10 to Rs 179.

Bayer CropScience shares eased from Rs 265.14 on December 1, to today's close of Rs 259.39, down 2.1 per cent on the BSE.

Monsanto India slid from Rs 1946.55 to Rs 1857.90, down 4.5 per cent.

RPG Life Sciences fell from Rs 73.30 to Rs 72.55.
