Moth trades lower in thin trade

Moth prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale pulses market today on adequate stocks against subdued demand.

Elsewhere, other commodities traded in a tight range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.

Traders said adequate stocks positions against subdued demand led to the decline in moth prices.

In the national capital, moth prices declined by Rs 100 to Rs 4,000-4,300 per quintal.
