MphasiS gains post Q4 earnings

The board has proposed a dividend of Rs17 per equity share for FY12 against Rs 6.50 paid last year.

MphasiS is trading higher by 2% at Rs 395 in otherwise weak market in morning trades after the IT consulting and software firm reported 14% year-on-year growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 209 crore for the fourth quarter ended October 2012.

The company's consolidated revenues however, declined 3.6% at Rs 1,306 crore for the reported quarter compared to Rs 1,355 crore in the same quarter last fiscal,” MphasiS said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the board has proposed a final dividend of Rs 17 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the year ended October 31, 2012. The company had paid dividend of Rs 6.50 per share last year.
