"We have cut prices of rolled products, but have kept rates of primary metal unchanged," Bagra said.
The reduction in prices was done to match prices offered by competitors Hindalco Industries and Sterlite Industries, Bagra said.
Rolled products account for 10 per cent of NALCO's annual metals sales. The rise of the US dollar against the rupee is putting an upward pressure on aluminium prices in India.
