NBCC gains on securing 197-crore project

Shares of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC)  are trading higher by over 1% at Rs 938 on the BSE after the company secured Rs 197-crore project to build a trade facilitation centre and crafts museum at Varanasi. 

"Ministry of Textiles has entrusted the project of construction of Trade Facilitation Centre and Crafts Museum at Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) to NBCC for an estimated amount of Rs 197 crore," National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) said in a BSE filing. 

The stock opened at Rs 926.50 and touched a high of Rs 939.40 on the BSE. A total of 4,705 shares changed hands on the BSE.
