Pepper down 0.45% on weak export demand
October contract sheds 0.26%

Pepper prices moved down by Rs 195 to Rs 43,110 per quintal in futures trade today due to subdued export demand at prevailing higher levels.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, pepper for delivery in November moved down by Rs 195, or 0.45%, to Rs 43,110 per quintal, with an open interest of 2,716 lots.
October pepper shed Rs 115, or 0.26%, to Rs 43,300 per quintal in 5,202 lots.
Marketmen attributed the fall in pepper futures to weak export demand at prevailing higher levels.
