SKS Microfinance has said its Rs 400-crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue, opened on Monday, was oversubscribed.

China’s Citic Telecom, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, is in talks with Reliance Communications to buy into undersea cable assets of the Anil Ambani-led company, spreading over 65,000 kilometres, the Financial Times reported on Thursday, citing unnamed sources.

Reliance Industries plans to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore in debt this financial year to part fund its $26 billion investment plan.
