Prices dimmed by dollar rally

| National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange of India (NCDEX) March gold closed at Rs 6193 from Rs 6202 with an open interest and volume of 496600 gram and 31800 gram respectively. |
| April contracts closed at Rs Rs 6214 from Rs 6225 with an open interest and volume of 302300 gram and 33800 gram each. |
| May contracts closed at Rs 6238 from Rs 6272 with an open interest and volume of 61600 and 9000 respectively. |
| NCDEX March silver ended the week at Rs 10714 from Rs 10731 last week with open interest at 81625 kilogram and volume of contract at 24560. |
| April silver was at Rs 10738 from Rs 10736 with open interest of 45655 and a volume of 729. |
| Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) April gold closed at Rs 6188 from last week's Rs 6207. June contracts closed at Rs 6208 compared with last week's Rs 6221 with open interest at 156 kg and volume at 16 kg. |
| The March Gold HNI (high net worth individuals) contract closed at Rs 6051 from last week's Rs 6097 with open interest and volume at 51 kg each. |
| HNI silver May closed at Rs 10284 from Rs 10504 with open interest of 4650 kg and 10200 kg of volumes traded. |
| The March 4 silver contract fell to Rs 10764 from Rs 10767, open positions being at 15290 kg and volume at 930 kg. |
| The May contract traded at Rs 10750 from the previous week's Rs 10969 with 168720 kg positions open and a volume of 88290 kg. |
