Provisional: Markets end choppy session on a flat note

Nifty ends flat at 5,846 while Sensex slips 64 points to close at 19,717

Markets closed flat with a negative bias amidst volatile trades. The BSE benchmark index closed down 64 points at 19,717 and the Nifty was relatively unchanged at 5,846 (provisional).

Weakness in heavyweight names like ITC, ICICI Bank, Infosys and Wipro weighed in the indices.
