PSU OMCs gain after govt eases norms on LPG

PSU OMCs have gained after the govt removed the restriction of one subsidized LPG cylinder per month for each consumer

PSU OMCs have gained during the morning trades after the government on Wednesday, 27 August 2014, removed the restriction of one subsidized LPG cylinder per month for each consumer. The restriction of 12 subsidized cylinders per consumer per annum continues.
 
Shares of Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) have surged 3% to Rs 695 on the BSE. The stock opened at Rs 683, touched a high of Rs 699 and a low of Rs 681 on the BSE. A total of 148,649 shares have been exchanged on the BSE so far.
 
Shares of Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) have climbed 1% to Rs 360 on the BSE. The stock opened at Rs 356, touched a high of Rs 363 and a low of Rs 356 on the BSE. A total of 46,544 shares have been exchanged on the BSE so far.
 
 
Shares of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) have gained 1%  to Rs 460 on the BSE. The stock opened at Rs 458, touched a high of Rs 465 and a low of Rs 456 on the BSE. A total of 112,257 shares have been exchanged on the BSE so far.
