Reliance GDR up 4.74%

ADR/GDR REPORT

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 0.79 per cent to 1209.89 in the early trades on Friday.

Among ISDI GDR stocks, all 7 advanced. The major gainers were Reliance, up 4.74 per cent to $26.10 with volume of 160,014 GDRs, L&T, up 2.67 per cent to $25 and Bajaj Auto, up 2.66 per cent to $28.90.

Among ISDI ADRs, 3 advanced and 5 lost ground. The gainers were Dr Reddy's, up 0.86 per cent to $16.45 with volume of 140,400 ADRs, MTNL, up 0.62 per cent to $6.54 with volume of 47,700 ADRs and HDFC Bank, up 0.19 per cent to $42.08 with volume of 74,600 ADRs.

The major losers were VSNL, down 1.45 per cent to $9.54 with volume of 34,800 ADRs, Infosys, down 0.55 per cent to $70.84 and Wipro, down 0.19 per cent to $21 with volume of 145,500 ADRs.

Instanex Skindia DR index was down 0.54 per cent to 1199.02 yesterday and was trading at a price-earning of 19.16.
