SAB Television up after $3m programming deals

Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network was in the limelight on Monday. The counter hit a 52-week high of Rs 114.45 before closing at Rs 109.60, up by 3.20 per cent. More than 4.05 lakh shares were traded on the BSE.
 
The counter attracted huge buying interest after it said that it had signed two deals worth $3 million. The first deal, signed in the US, involves the supply of content to TV Asia.
 
The second deal involves the supply of prime-time programming content to Gulf-based Pehla Channel. SAB will leverage on its extensive library to cater to the needs of both channels.
 
Sri Adhikari Brothers recently launched Hindi entertainment channel SAB TV on SKY's DTH platform in the United Kingdom.
