Satyam Comp leaps after inking deal with WHO

The Satyam Computer scrip was up by 4.30 per cent from Rs 520.65 to Rs 543.05 today. The stock had made steady gains from Rs 364.40 in mid-April to Rs 538.85 in mid-September. It had hit an year's high on 21 September, closing at Rs 562.40.
 
The stock was on a rally after it annouced that the World Health Organisation (WHO) has chosen to work with it in the implementation of its critical Global Management System (GMS).
 
Satyam has been chosen to implement an Oracle-based ERP system throughout WHO offices, including its regional offices and in over 140 country offices.
 
The company specializes on domains such as automobile, banking and financial services etc. The company's consolidated net profit had went down about 7.7 per cent in this quarter as agaist that of the previous year.
