Sensex at new high, up 126pts

The Sensex continues to scale to newer highs, and is now up 126 points at 14,604.

Bajaj Auto has soared over 6% (Rs 177) to Rs 3,002.

Grasim, Hindalco and ACC have surged around 2% each to Rs 2,853, Rs 178 and Rs 1,065, respectively.

Cipla, Infosys, ICICI Bank and Larsen & Toubro have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 254, Rs 2,307, Rs 972 and Rs 1,725, respectively.

Hero Honda, Ranbaxy and NTPC are the other prominent gainers.

Tata Motors has slipped over 1% to Rs 910.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,581 stocks traded so far, 1,600 have advanced, 932 have declined and 49 are unchanged.
