Sensex down 130pts; Reliance firm

The Sensex is now down 130 points at 13,891.

ICICI Bank has plunged 3.5% to Rs 915. Gujarat Ambuja and ITC have shed around 3% each to Rs 123 and Rs 169, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, Ranbaxy, Grasim, SBI, Wipro, ACC and Hindalco have dropped over 2% each to Rs 783, Rs 360, Rs 2,362, Rs 1,056, Rs 640, Rs 943 and Rs 146, respectively.

Reliance is up 1% at Rs 1,428. Tata Steel is the other prominent gainer.

Out of 2,334 stocks traded so far, 1,894 have declined, 401 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
