Sensex down 26pts; REL moves up 2%

The Sensex is now down 26 points at 14,490.

Reliance Communications has dropped 4.5% to Rs 492. HDFC and HDFC Bank have shed 1.5% each to Rs 1,790 and Rs 1084, respectively.

Reliance Energy has moved up 1.7% to Rs 558. Grasim and NTPC are up over 1% each to Rs 2,822 and Rs 143, respectively.

Out of 2,322 stocks traded so far, 1,391 have advanced, 878 have declined and 53 are unchanged.
