Sensex firm in early trades; financials, realty shine

The Sensex after opening with a positive gap of 242 points, continue to hold most of its gains so far on the back of smart gains in financial and realty stocks.
The index touched a high of 14,673, a low of 14,616, and is now up 231 points at 14,632.
ICICI Bank has soared 4% to Rs 671. HDFC Bank has rallied 3.3% to Rs 1,234, and SBI has gained nearly 2% at Rs 1,372. HDFC has moved up to Rs 2,330.
DLF have surged nearly 4% to Rs 503. While Reliance Infrastructure has gained 3% at Rs 1,008, Jaiprakash Associates has added 2.5% to Rs 168.
Larsen & Toubro has moved up over 2% to Rs 2,660. Satyam and Reliance Communications have advanced nearly 2% each to Rs 394 and Rs 413, respectively.
Grasim and Wipro are up around 1.5% each at Rs 1,960 and Rs 424, respectively.
