Sensex up 186pts; Bharti, Infosys shine

The Sensex is now up 186 points at 11,063.

Ranbaxy has surged 4.3% to Rs 394. HDFC has rallied 3.5% to Rs 1,233.

Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and Infosys have advanced nearly 3% each to Rs 274, Rs 802, Rs 404, Rs 563 and Rs 1,709, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, ONGC and NTPC have gained nearly 2% each at Rs 2,314, Rs 1,215 and Rs 123, respectively.

Out of 2,334 stocks traded, 1,660 have advanced, 600 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
