Sensex up 280 pts; ICICI Bank up 3.85%

The Nifty is trading at 5091, up 79 points.

Infosys is the top gainer in the Sensex, it is now up 4.3% to Rs 1,905, ICICI Bank is up 3.85% to Rs 931 and L&T has advanced 3.2% to Rs 2,920. Reliance Communications, ACC, Reliance Infra, Bhel, Jaiprakash Associates, Maruti, DLF and Wipro are all up over 2% each. 

Satyam is now down 2.8% to Rs 487. ITC, Ranbaxy and Tata Motors are down over half per cent each to Rs 225, Rs 493 and Rs 669 respectively.
