Sensex up 32pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 32 points at 14,436.

Bharti Airtel has surged 2.6% to Rs 791, and Reliance Communications has added 2.3% to Rs 502.

HDFC has moved up 1.8% to Rs 1,775. SBI and Reliance Energy are up 1% each at Rs 1,194 and Rs 540, respectively.

Hindalco has shed 3.8% to Rs 176. Wipro has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 632.

Tata Motors, ACC and Cipla are down 1% each at Rs 902, Rs 1,031 and Rs 248, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,424 stocks traded so far, 1,417 have moved up, 935 have slipped and the rest are unchanged.
