Sensex up 55pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 55 points at 13,688.

Gujarat Ambuja has surged 4.4% to Rs 128. Satyam and ITC have flared up around 4% each to Rs 467 and Rs 173, respectively.

Tata Steel has rallied 3% to Rs 473. Dr.Reddy's, ACC and Grasim have advanced over 2% each to Rs 698, Rs 937 and Rs 2,323, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and Hindalco are up over 1% each to Rs 2,872 and Rs 145, respectively.

Reliance Communications has shed 2.5% to Rs 422. Reliance is down 1.3% to Rs 1,394.

Out of 2,359 stocks traded so far, 1,245 have advanced, 1,057 have declined and 57 are unchanged.
