Sensex up 89pts; market breadth positive

The Sensex is now up 89 points at 11,709.

BHEL has moved up nearly 2% to Rs 2,285. HDFC Bank has advanced 1.3% to Rs 857.

Tata Steel, Cipla, Maruti, Ranbaxy, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Auto and ITC are up 1% each.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 1,839 stocks traded so far, 1,332 have advanced, 447 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
