Sensex up 91pts; ONGC, ITC gain 3%

The Sensex is now up 91 points at 11,710.

ONGC and ITC have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 1,230 and Rs 185, respectively.

Maruti and NTPC have rallied over 2% each to Rs 854 and Rs 127, respectively.

Reliance Communications and BHEL are up 2% each at Rs 305 and Rs 2,288, respectively.

Infosys has moved up 1.5% to Rs 1,797. Cipla, ICICI Bank, HDFC and Larsen & Toubro have gained 1% each.

Out of 2,504 stocks traded so far, 1,372 have advanced, 1,060 have declined and 72 are unchanged.
