Sensex up 98pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 98 points at 14,576.

Bajaj Auto has soared nearly 6% (Rs 165) to Rs 2,990.

ACC, Grasim and Hindalco have surged around 2% each to Rs 1,067, Rs 2,852 and Rs 178, respectively.

Cipla, Infosys and Hero Honda have moved up around 1.5% each at Rs 254, Rs 2,307 and Rs 730, respectively.

Wipro, Larsen & Toubro and ICICI Bank are up around 1% each at Rs 643, Rs 1,721 and Rs 966, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,527 stocks traded so far, 1,556 have moved up, 912 have slipped and the rest are unchanged.
