State Bank scrips hit all-time high

The State Bank of India (SBI) and its listed subsidaries hit their life time high in today's trade as the bank scrips repeated their double digit appreciation story for the second consecutive day.
 
The SBI touched a high of Rs 909.50 before closing about two per cent gain at Rs 898.60.
 
The State bank of Travancore went up above 8 per cent to Rs 4050 before closing 2.76 per cent up at Rs 3656.10.
 
The State Bank of Mysore went up to Rs 4459.10 before closing at Rs 4451.30, up about 20 per cent. The State bank of Bikaner & Jaipur went up more than 10 per cent to Rs 4140 before coming down to Rs 3599.50 during the closing hours.
 
The BSE Bankex rose by 23.47 points or 0.49 per cent to close at 4855.87.
 
The highest gainers of the index was the State Bank of Mysore followed by Centurion bank (6.7 per cent), State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (4.31 per cent), City Union Bank (3.86 per cent) and Dena Bank (2.89 per cent).
