Steel prices remain flat in thin trade

Steady conditions developed on the local steel and iron market today as prices moved in a tight range on restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks against sporadic demand, mainly kept steel prices steady.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu-mm-10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 41,100, Rs 42,800 and Rs 41,500 per tonne, respectively.
Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 39,350 per tonne.
