Stock Alert: ITC hits new lifetime high

The company has reportedly raised the price of its small-size filter segment cigarette brand, Gold Flake

ITC has moved higher by over 2% to Rs 276 also its lifetime high in noon deals on reports that the company increases the cigarette prices by around 6-7%.

“India's largest cigarette maker ITC has raised the price of its small-size filter segment cigarette brand Gold Flake to Rs 48 for a pack of 10 sticks,” the TV channel report suggests.

The stock opened at Rs 270 and has seen almost two-fold jump in trading volumes. As many as a combined 6.15 million shares have changed hands on the counter so far on the NSE and BSE.
