Sugar closes quiet on some support

The wholesale sugar market ended on a flat note in the national capital today, as prices moved in a narrow range on alternate small bouts of trading and settled at last levels.

Market analysts said adequate stocks position to meet the ongoing festival demand mainly held sugar prices unaltered.

Sugar ready M-30 2,950-3,075 and S-30 2,925-3,040
Mill delivery M-30 2,800-2,950 and S-30 2,790-2,930
