Sugar prices remain steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed in the wholesale sugar market today as prices moved in a thin range on small alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.

Market analysts said adequate stocks against sporadic demand mainly kept sugar prices unaltered.

Sugar ready M-30 2,950-3,100 and S-30 2,925-3,060
Mill delivery M-30 2,800-2,975 and S-30 2,790-2,950
