Tea Board Gets Stay From Sc

Tea Board of India has obtained a stay of hearing from Supreme Court of India relating to writ petitions filed by tea traders challenging the legality of Tea (Marketing) Control Order 2003 in High Courts.
Tea Board moved a transfer petition in Supreme Court seeking transfer of three cases for better adjudication.
The three-judge SC bench comprising the Chief Justice, Justice S B Sinha and Justice AR Lakshman directed Tea Board to issue notice, stating,
