Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has surged 11% to Rs 106 after the company said it has received transformers order worth of Rs 296 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO).
“The company has been awarded single order of 392 numbers of transformers amounting to Rs 296 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO),” Transformers and Rectifiers (India) said in a BSE filing.
The said order is to be executed in this fiscal. With this, total order book has jumped above Rs 650 crore, it added.
The stock opened at Rs 98 and hit a high of Rs 107 on BSE. A combined around 45,000 shares have changed hands on the counter in early morning deals on BSE and NSE.
