The US markets closed in the green.
The Dow Jones ended at 10236, stronger by 41 points or 0.4%, Nasdaq closed at 2221, higher by 17 points or 0.8% and the S&P shut at 1097, up 5.3 points or 0.4%.
The Indian ADRs had a mixed day. Infosys closed at $54, stronger by $0.3 or 0.6% and Sterlite closed at $16, higher by $0.2 or 1.3%.
On the other hand, Patni Computers shut at $19, weaker by $0.9 or 4.6%, Tata Communication ended at $15, lower by $0.8 or 5.4%, Wipro ended at $20.83, down $0.6 or 3% and HDFC Bank closed at $118, down $4 or 4%.
