Wheat goes cheaper by Rs 50

Prices of wheat went down while rest all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Wheat decreased by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 1,850 from its previous rate of Rs 1,900. Thoor dal, urad dall, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, maida and sooji prices were steady.

Following are today's rates (per quintal): Thoor dal Rs 6,200, Urad dal Rs 7,200, Moong dal Rs 5,900, Gram dal Rs 2,850, Sugar Rs 2,700, Wheat Rs 1,850 Maida (90 kg) Rs 1,750 and sooji (90 kgs) Rs 1900.
