The Wipro scrip rose 3.25 per cent to close the day at Rs 498.05 on reports of winning new order. The company entered a contract with US apparel retailer Charming Shoppes for five years to provide IT services.
As per the deal, Wipro will be responsible for applications including stores, supply chain, merchandising, marketing, analytics, business intelligence and corporate systems. The stock made an intraday high of Rs 504 and a low of Rs 478. Total traded volumes on Wednesday stood at 1.83 lakh shares.
